DR. NARIMAN AMIRI

Dr. Nariman Amiri graduated from the University of British Columbia, Faculty of Dentistry (UBC) and received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD). During this period he was awarded by the American College of Prosthodontics and the British Columbia Society of Prosthodontists, was presented in the Dean’s list and was elected into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental society. He was also awarded as one of a few student leaders by UBC president, Steven J. Toope.

Dr. Amiri continued his studies at the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Iowa, in Iowa City, where he received his post-doctoral certificate in Prosthodontics. He has distinguished himself by becoming a Board Certified Prosthodontist and is recognized as a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

Dr. Nariman Amiri is in full-time practice in his state-of-the-art clinic, dedicated to Prosthodontics and Implant dentistry and mentors the Treatment Options in Prosthodontics and Boundary Prosthetic study clubs. He is also appointed as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, the University of British Columbia, where he teaches graduate students in Prosthodontics. Dr. Amiri is a published researcher who has been awarded in the 83rd general session of IADR/AADR. His research is published in the International Journal of Computerized Dentistry as one of the first successful multi-desciplinary studies in computer science and dentistry (International journal of computerized dentistry 8:3 2005 Jul pg 221-31)

Dr. Amiri is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics (ACP), the Association of Prosthodontics of Canada (APC), the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics (AAMP), the Academy of Osseointegration (AO), the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics (AAFP) and the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia (CDSBC).

 

Dr. Amiri enjoys life in North Shore with his wife and kids and has interests in photography, music, skiing, swimming, cycling, mountain biking and hiking.
